A favourite amongst honeymooners and LCEQ workers alike, Likuliku Resort — a name that translates to ‘calm waters’ — is situated in the Mamanuca archipelago and is one of Fiji’s most luxurious destinations.

Three existing generators on the site had reached the end of their life, with power outages plaguing the resort almost every day in 2011.

The decision was made to install three new Cummins generator sets (C250D5B), each rated at 182 kW prime power load, to handle the resort’s many operational requirements

Cummins Power Generation’s ability to design and install ongoing power support that is effective, quiet, fuel-efficient, easy to control and maintain was complemented by LCEQs installation excellence.

We have undertaken work at various remote resorts over the years, making us the perfect option for a large-scale project like this one.

Alongside the three generators, a Cummins DMC200 Digital Master Controller was installed to provide automatic logic control. The intelligent controller manages rotation of the gensets while also minimising fuel use.

LCEQ is a hospitality leader, having completed major projects at a range of remote travel destinations like Daintree Resort, Coconut Beach Resort, Hayman Island Resort and Outrigger Resort.

We are able to assemble an expert team to service isolated island locations, offering industry-best service no matter the location — extending our reach far beyond our home base of Queensland.
